Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Rica

On our last full day, we spent the day in the lush tropical forests and white sand beaches of Manuel Antonio National Park. It’s Costa Rica’s smallest national park, but it was spectacular. The park has an abundance of wildlife including monkeys, sloths, armadillos, and over 350 species of birds. We spent the morning on a guided hike in search of wildlife, and then spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing on the white sand beaches in the park with pristine views of the Pacific. My beach-loving soul was so happy.

They call these the “Jesus Lizard” because it looks like they’re “walking on water” when they move

So many monkeys in this park!

Views of the white sand beaches

After our hike beach time in Manuel Antonio, we went back to the hotel to get ready and gathered at a beautiful restaurant on the water for a group dinner . The meal was tasty but the sunset views stole the show.

There were so many monkeys around our hotel!

So many monkeys!

Dinner views

The seafood was so tasty

I think this was a yummy banana dessert with homemade ice cream

Perfection

Stunning sunset. It felt like the entire restaurant was watching the show

Speaking of shows..we were treated to this show whenever it was someone’s birthday at the restaurant..

This song is still stuck in my head. Gotta love that beat
