Pacific Coast, Costa Rica

Today we left the cloud forest behind, and set off for Costa Rica’s Pacific coast in the beautiful seaside village of Manuel Antonio. We made a few stops along the way to see monkeys hanging in trees and an area with a bridge looking out at alligators. We also stopped for smoothies and I had the most delicious smoothie with passion fruit, pineapple, and mango.

The bravest bird I ever did see

First views of Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast

Once we settled into the hotel, I opted to do a late afternoon Catamaran excursion which was amazing. I went with a fellow traveller in the G Adventures group and we had a blast! The food, music and drinks on the boat were a whole vibe. The sunset views were so picturesque!

Leaving in the late afternoon on our catamaran

Cheers! (First of many drinks ha)
